Graphic Novel Book Club
Recommended for independent readers age 8 through 12
Join Ms. Colleen & Miss Emma for our Graphic Novel Book Club. We meet after-school, once-a-month, to discuss graphic novels. Snacks and activity will be provided.
September's Book Club
We will be reading Spy School by Stuart Gibbs. We will meet on Wednesday, September 21, at 3:15 p.m.
"Ben Ripley is recruited for a magnet school with a focus on science--but he's entirely shocked to discover that the school is actually a front for a junior C.I.A. academy. Ben becomes an undercover agent and goes on his first assignment in this graphic novel adaptation of SPY SCHOOL."—Provided by publisher.
Sign up below, visit the circulation desk, or email Ms. Colleen at jamlibyouth@gmail.com. We will be meeting in the Meeting Hall.
For New Book Club Members
At each session, the kids vote on a book to read together for the next month. Then, Ms. Colleen orders enough copies of that book through the Ocean State Libraries consortium. You pick up the book at the library (usually a week after the last book club). Books are never due before Book Club. Please reach out with any questions.
