Rhody Voices: Songs of lovers and ghosts, triumphs and mishaps, famous and forgotten men and women, some of whom changed civilization, all of whom settled in the 1214 square miles we call Rhode Island.
Nancy Carroll spent her career as a member of the Community College of Rhode Island's music faculty, where she taught all theory and history courses and directed the Chamber Ensemble and Chorus. Now a musical historian, she sings her original songs based on Rhode Island's history. She sings of lovers and ghosts, triumphs and mishaps, famous and forgotten men and women, some of whom changed civilization, all of whom settled in the 1214 square miles we call Rhode Island. Her programs include stories from throughout the state, always one written especially for each performance venue. The audience will leave smiling. A selection of her songs can be heard at rhodyvoices.com.
