This program is open to patrons ages 10-100.

Zahira in Morocco, Jackson in Kenya, Carlos in Argentina, and Samuel in India each experience countless challenges everyday, sometimes at the risk of their lives, to get to school.

Jamestown Chess Club
Long time chess enthusiast Mark Carnevale will host the Jamestown Chess Club at the Library on Wednesday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. November 30th through May. Chess improves memory, creativity, strategic and critical thinking for lifelong mental health.
Instruction, coaching and mentoring for all levels of experience, open to ages 13 and above. Drop-ins welcome.
