"The Building Blocks of Comic Creation"
This summer's program is an interactive storytelling show in which the audience helps me design a silly, zany comic strip. We will learn about the different ingredients that make up a comic or cartoon, and how those pieces come together! The program will address ideas like simple illustration techniques, communicating through art, and using sequential images to tell a story that is easy to understand.
Bwana Iguana is an exciting and educational interactive program that introduces the audience to the mysterious realm of reptiles. It also promotes conservation, and understanding of the entire natural world. Hands on audience participation is encouraged, and it is always a FUN time.
Representatives from each of these town departments will be on hand at the library to share what they do. Ever want to get up close and personal with a fire truck? Or see the inside of a squad car? This is your chance to "touch a truck"!

We are excited for the casting call happening at your libraries this week.
I just want to confirm that there will be an available space to do the casting in each library at the following times.
It would be wonderful to have a table and a bunch of chairs available. Let me know if there's anything we should be aware of. Thanks so much for your help on this,
Stephanie
