Parents/guardians and their girls are welcome to stop by to learn about Girl Scouts.
Registering to join a troop is done through the www.gssne.org website.
Computers will be available at the registration event to sign up...no more paper forms, so if you can register in advance it will save time at the registration event. The cost to join is $35 per girl.
We are in need of volunteers to help with all age levels from kindergarten to high school. Please consider volunteering for your girls troop.

At 7 PM the EPELOA will hold its annual business meeting. This will be followed at 8 PM by a presentation about coyotes in Jamestown by Dr. Numi Mitchel of the Narragansett Bay Coyote Study. The meeting will be open to the public. Since 2004 The Narragansett Bay Coyote Study has been developing science-based coexistence and management strategies for coyotes.
Evolution of the Urban Forest - led by Chris Fletcher, a managing arborist for Bartlett Tree Services. He also is a caretaker of Juniper Hill Cemetery, one of three landmark graveyards in Rhode Island. Fletcher will discuss the history and importance of forestation to the environment.
Meeting to evaluate interest in a class reunion for Jamestown School Classes 1967,68,69.
One on one help with technology
The Beavertail lighthouse museum Association will hold its monthly Board of Directors Meeting.
This is to provide local referees with an opportunity to be taught the new rules of the game.
Also to engage new referees in discussion regarding video clips on how to make the correct decisions in a match.
We will also be providing local referees updated information on referee abuse and what to do if in that situation.
