Our Book Drop is Open! However, we are still closed.
Thank you for patiently storing your finished books (and unfinished books), your watched DVDs, your partially read magazines, and any other library materials you borrowed before we closed our building due to COVID-19.
We are pleased to announce that our book drop is now open. For the safety of all, we ask you to observe social distancing protocols when returning your books and stay in your car until the person ahead of you is finished dropping off their materials.
For those of you who may want to keep your materials a bit longer, all due dates have been extended to June 1, 2020. So, keep cooking from that cookbook you love or keep re-reading that picture book that makes your kids laugh, they’re yours for another month.
This is our first small step in the long road to returning to what will be the “new normal” in our library services. We closely monitor the Governor’s directives and recommendations from the State Office of Library and Information Services, and will proceed with great caution when considering our next steps. Please be patient a little while longer, and keep checking our website, and our Facebook page, or subscribe to our email newsletter for more news in the weeks to come.
We will get through this.
